I just weeded my library (or did some other work in my library). Can I earn CE grant money for this?

  • No. You can not earn CE grant money by doing library work before doing some learning activity.

    • This CE grant program pays librarians and trustees to learn to do work better.

    • Librarians and trustees must participate in a learning activity before doing the work.

    • Every CE Project Agreement has a "learning component" and a "work component." The learning component must be done before the work component.

  • Librarians and trustees want to do a project and receive full CE grant for completing projects should look over the CE Project Agreements or call the Head of CKLS Continuing Education first.

  • If librarians and trustees have already completed a project, librarians and trustees might be able to do a "Create a CE Project." The Head of CKLS Continuing Education decides on a case-by-case basis whether such projects will be accepted.

    • This project requires writing a clear description their project, with step-by-step instructions and tips and tricks about how to do this project better.

    • This work will become part of the learning components of new CE Project Agreements. Completing the "Create a CE Project" earns half money of completing a other CE Project Agreements.
