- Write a technology plan with the following characteristics.
- Front cover states: the name of the library, three years covered by the plan, date of library board approval.
- Plan covers three years.
- Contains the five elements required by the Schools and Libraries Division.
- Goals: each year should have one or more SMART goals
- Professional development strategy
- Assessment of telecommunication services
- Budget resources: copy of budget covering technology
- Ongoing evaluation process stating the person in charge, frequency and method of evaluation.
- Submit plan for state approval to Jeff Hixon, State Library of Kansas, 300 SW Tenth Ave., Room 343 N., Topeka, Kansas 66612-1593.
- To receive credit for this project, submit the following to the Head of CKLS Continuing Education.
- Copy of filled out the "Technology assessment: Preparation for writing an E-rate technology plan"
- The State approved technology plan. Please send as attachment to email.
- A filled out CE Project Agreement Evaluation form (Word document)
