Library work component:
- Choose a group to connect with and develop a strategy for doing so.
- Connect with groups of town’s people by hosting an event in which everyone who comes becomes a READ poster.
- Improve your relationship with city government by making READ posters of the mayor, city manager, city council, police chief, other city managers, etc.
- Connect with your business community (or honor those who support your Summer Library Program) by making READ posters of the local business people.
- Honor the local sports teams by making READ posters of the high school coach(es) and the teams.
- Honor and promote a book discussion group by making READ posters of its members.
- Connect with schools by making READ posters of the teachers.
- Connect with pet owners by making READ posters of their dog or cat reading a dog or cat book. (Cats read dog books as horror stories.)
